By using www.romanheritagefarms.com (the "Site") or purchasing goods from Roman Heritage Farms ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Agricultural Products & "Beyond Organic" Disclaimer

While we follow "Beyond Organic" practices (soy-free, non-GMO, rotationally grazed), our products are not "Certified Organic" by the USDA unless explicitly labeled.

Natural Variation: Since our animals roam freely and eat a natural diet, variations in meat color, fat content, and egg yolk shade are normal and not considered defects.

Availability: Harvest dates and product availability are subject to nature, weather, and animal health. We reserve the right to delay or cancel orders based on farm conditions.

3. Live Animal Sales (Started Pullets)

Health Guarantee: We guarantee that all started pullets are healthy at the time of pickup/delivery.

Bio-Security: Once a live animal leaves our farm, we cannot accept returns to protect the bio-security of our flock.

Buyer Responsibility: Roman Heritage Farms is not responsible for the death or illness of poultry due to predator attacks, improper feeding, or lack of shelter once in the buyer's care.

4. Subscriptions & Bundles

Billing: By signing up for a Meat Bundle Subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

Cancellation: You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time; however, cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to the next scheduled harvest/pickup date.

5. Pickup, Shipping, and Risk of Loss

On-Farm Pickups: If picking up at our Sunset, TX location, you agree to follow farm safety signs. We are not liable for any injury sustained while on farm property.

Perishability: Customers are responsible for bringing a cooler or ensuring someone is home to receive deliveries. We are not responsible for meat or eggs that spoil because they were left unattended.

6. Texas Law & Liability (Chapter 87 Warning)

As a Texas agricultural entity, the following applies:

WARNING: UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), A FARM PRODUCT OWNER OR AGENT IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN A FARM ANIMAL ACTIVITY OR LIVESTOCK SHOW RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF THE ACTIVITY.

7. Health & Nutritional Information

Any testimonials or mentions of health benefits (e.g., eating healthy to stay in remission) are personal experiences. Our products and content are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease. Always consult a physician before making medical dietary decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including the story of Lou and Grandma Lela, farm photos, and "Beyond Organic" descriptions, is the property of Roman Heritage Farms and may not be used without written permission.

9. SMS Messaging & Mobile Consent
